About Us
Kerry and Caleb each grew up in households with numerous pets and experienced the special bonds that can often be formed with these companions, and Caleb grew up assisting with his father’s veterinary practice where he was able to witness the various ways to love and care for animals. With this love for pets engrained in each of our childhoods, it was inevitable that we would ultimately have our own special family pet. After having several smaller pets as our family was growing, Kerry, Caleb, and our three children welcomed our first family dog, Socket, to the family in February 2021. Socket is an Australian Labradoodle who completely stole our hearts! However, as we explored grooming options for him, we found ourselves regularly questioning some of the practices of the traditional grooming model such as waiting times for scheduling, delays in getting an appointment, the inconvenience of morning drop offs and unknown pick up times, and the emotional toll it would take on Socket. With our hectic schedule of juggling kids and their numerous activities along with Caleb’s professional career, we knew both our family and community needed a better mobile grooming option. So we decided to embark on a mission to bring a mobile grooming service to the Triad area that can provide a superior experience for the pets and a more convenient option for the owners!
Supported by our own personal experiences with grooming, past entrepreneurial experience, deep community roots given our 13+ years in Winston-Salem, and Aussie Pet Mobile’s strong track record across the U.S., we decided to bring the Aussie Pet Mobile experience to NC’s Triad area! Our team’s commitment to our customers is to treat your pet as if it was our own, and you can count on our team to provide your pet a high quality, individualized experience in a comfortable environment, be reliable and responsive in all interactions, and have a positive impact on our community with our eco-friendly, self-sustained vans.
